review 1: This self-help title clearly suggests one small change a week to make your life healthier and happier, giving several specific ideas of how to accomplish the change along with fact to motivate you. Besides the usual eating your vegetables, going organic, hydrating, exercising and enough sleep, Blumenthal discusses decluttering, buying locally grown food, avoiding harmful ingredients in personal care products, using homemade toxin-free cleaning agents, participating in life, not being a bystander, taking up a hobby, and proactively and passionately living life with a purpose that leaves a positive legacy. My favorite topics were laughing more and getting back to nature by spending time outdoors to visit walk a pet, fish, hike, eat your lunch, camp or just sit and enjoy nat... moreure. One small change a week is doable.
review 2: I enjoyed this book very much. Much of what is written is just common sense but I liked the fact that each week you are given one simple task to work on and gradually, at the end of the year (52) weeks), you will have made 52 small changes to your lifestyle. I do believe that if you follow the advice given in the book and, assuming you stick to it and don't forget about the previous weeks' tasks, it is possible to be a happier and healthier you. As I said before though, most of it is common sense but it doesn't do any harm to be reminded of the things we should all be doing on a daily basis but probably don't. less

A good reminder, but you pretty much know this stuff already. The Happiness Project is better.
