review 1: This is an easy read and filled with mostly good advice. The couple of exceptions are the section on hats that sincerely encourage the reader to don a fedora or trilby and the section on flower giving that encourages the reader to communicate via Victorian-era code. There's also a line or two about what a modern woman really wants, deep down, despite what she says, which I imagine might raise and eyebrow from some. Despite these few shortcomings I think nearly all men would benefit by taking an afternoon to give this a read. I particularly enjoyed the sections on modern etiquette and Ben Franklin's thirteen virtues.

... morelent read. Despite reading many of the articles before on their blog, this book is filled with many insights that could help you in both your day to day life and the longrun. For those who haven't grownup yet or needing that little push in life, you might just find something in here. less
