review 1: We enjoyed finding the odd one out from each page! The last pages was the most challenging as they were not sure what they were looking for. Each page gave a short description and you know you are looking for the same animal that was acting a little different from the rest. However, the last page only told you to find the animal that you have not seen before (so the kids do not know what animals they are looking for).Still, it was an awesome book! We always enjoy our read out loud story time together, but the kids really love books that you can interact with (individually or as a group). This is going to be another good book to add to our home bookshelf.
review 2: Some of the pages were physically hard to stare at --particularly the lemur page (I'm not too grow
... moren up to admit that I didn't find the "odd one"). Most of the discrepancies will pop out immediately to adults, but I can imagine children having a good time finding the oddity. The artwork is subtly colorful and an interesting pallet to use for children; much darker and subdued than most work, especially in a Look-and-See style.Th only other reason I gave this a 3-star rating was that the rhythm and rhyme felt really off in many of the 2nd stanzas. If you can't give a solid, uniform beat then don't try is my personal opinion. Otherwise, it was at the very least, a tolerable read. less

Excellent choice for young children who like the "spot the difference" or "I Spy" books.
