review 1: Nikki y Jack, Nikki y Cole... el libro comienza extraño, me desconcerto el inicio de la historia porque desde el principio va llendo al pasado y luego a la actualidad, los tiempos al principio me confundian un poco, todo se basaba en el antes y el despues del vinculo que hizo con Cole. Confieso que al pricipio me gusto Cole y no es que lo odie o algo porque el en realidad creo que le gusto Nikki, aunque lo niegue siente algo. En cuanto a Jack es obvio que muere por Nikki y me parecio un poco frustrante que ella no hiciera lo posible por hacerlo mas facil para el.Acepto que odie un poco a Nikki porque regreso solo para botar todos los avance que habia hecho Jack en olvidarla, el pobre la paso muy mal y viene ella y vuleve solo para recordarle todo lo que perdio, el amor qu... moree se le fue quitado... la verdad es un poco triste, la forma en que termina el libro me dolio, Jack demostro su amor por ella sacrificandose.Sobre Cole me gustaria saber un poco mas sobre lo que siente, sobre los planes que tiene, porque no me quedo muy claro el plan de el para hacer a Nikki su reina, quisiera que eso quedara mas claro.
review 2: Another fun take on the Hades/Persephone myth. I liked how the chapters alternated between the present and flashbacks, and how both were woven together so that they really enhanced each other, instead of just being two separate, interesting, but somewhat unrelated stories. I really liked the mythology in this one, and I look forward to getting a more in-depth look at the Everneath, since it was largely glossed over here. I thought the characters were also interesting and engaging, and the story was well written--enough that I stayed up a bit too late reading on several occasions, always with the intention of reading just one more chapter. less
