review 1: A promise of More, this is Bronwen Evans second book in her Disgraced Lords Series. I truly loved the first book in the series and was concerned it might not be able to get any better. I was definitely wrong. Sebastian Hawkestone and Beatrice Hennessey' story was so much more. It was a complete page turner. He the extremely sexy bachelor rogue and she the perceived nitpicking spinster who demands to solve her families financial ruin since he is at fault. This book had intrigued and sexy romance throughout. I cannot wait for the next book in the series comes out. Hopefully the readers will not have to wait too long for the next Libertine Scholars story. I feel this series is only going to get better and better.
review 2: This is the second book in this ... moreseries. I have read and loved the first book so now I have to see how Sebastian and Beatrice get their Happy Ever After. Sebastian fled after he killed a young man in a duel. Or did he? Next he is accosted by Beatrice when he comes home.The older sister of the young man is going to get him to marry her as her family is destitute and it's his fault. He tells her it's friends only as he doesn't believe in love. As she believes in love there is a lot of action in this Adult book both in and out of bed. Then someone wants the group of friends, The Libertine Scholars, dead. This book goes by fast. Between trying to save their marriage and their lives it ends way too soon. Try this out and fall into this series like I did. less
