Scandals with Bite
review 1: A strong opening and interesting combination of the historical and paranormal make this book a winner. The perfect pacing also made this an easy read. The misunderstandings b/w Angelica and Ian were frustrating enough to hold my attention but not so frustrating as to make me want to throw the book at something. It was good to see a version of vampires that was neither Twilight-sparkly or Nosferatu-hideous, but instead offered a balanced take on one of the most obsessed-over creatures in literature.
review 2: Bite Me, Your Grace was a good mix of paranormal and historical romance. It kept me entertained and I liked Angelica and Ian. The ending was a little slow, but I will be reading another book in this series. I liked how much Ian, Lord Vampire of London, love
... mored Angelica and her eccentricities. Writing books and other interests made her odd and someone a decent man wouldn't want. I enjoyed the usual beautiful homes and clothing that I expect in a historical novel, but the ball that Angelica threw after her wedding was a bit much. I know it was supposed to be unconventional, but it seemed it was meant to be offensive. I also didn't like her smoking because that was what other artistic women did, it made her seem weak and childish. The book wasn't perfect, but I would recommend it to others. less

This was a cute, silly book. If you don't like silly books then don't read it.

Witty heroine and hero. A light, fun(ny) read.
