Echoes from the Edge
review 1: Like I said about the first book, this is great! I am still reading it though. I did however find it confusing at times and would have to go back and reread the last page or two. I love the action even though it is a little unoriginal at times (e.i. weaving in and out of traffic on motorcycles to escape from the bad guys). And at other times the multiple different characters can get confusing and it gets annoying at times. I have overlooked this though because the rest of the book was great! I can't wait to read the third book!
review 2: The second installment in the Echoes from the Edge series is a lot like the first one. Things got a little more confusing (as I thought they would), but it was still pretty fun to read. I didn't like it as much as the first one
... more - mostly because it was so complicated. It's difficult to keep track of all the "dimension-hopping". Still, I'm interested in finding out what happens next. Once again, this book had some slightly "mature" stuff in it that I didn't think was completely necessary, though it was meant to convey a good message. There wasn't as much in this book, but just be careful when you read it. less

I picked up the second book first which is almost certainly what went wrong.

Similar to the first with more cross dimensional oddities.
