review 2: Jane Jones: Worst Vampire Ever, by Caissie St. Onge is a surprisingly good s... moretory. When I first picked it up I thought that it was a comedy but no, it is a serious story. This is a sort of never coming of age story or a girl, Jane Jones, who died and was reborn during the depression in the dustbowl area. As with vampires, they don’t age so Jane and her brother and parents have to move every 3-4 years. Also Jane has a rare, for vampire problem. She is allergic to all blood except a very rare blood type.Jane has never had a boyfriend nor close friends before so she is completely surprised when Timothy, a handsome, rich vampire “boy” and Eli, a normal human both start showing feelings for her. How she handles her new attractiveness is a growing stage that most teens go through. The plot gets more interesting when her history teacher gets involved and pushes her in another direction.The plot is a lot better than the title. It was a very enjoyable and quick read. less
