review 1: This book entirely changed the way I look at choosing a major along with experiences in my life. I now look at a major as career capital that can help me in finding a career I can gain control over instead of following my undiscovered"passion" which would leave me haphazardly hopping from career path to career path without ever giving each path time to pan out. Maybe this can be attributed to my generation's constant fear of missing out on the next great opportunity (just ask any of my friends to choose a movie on Netflix on any given night). I definitely suggest this book to anyone who is struggling with making a decision on a college major or career path.
review 2: I'm not normally a self-help, advice book kind of reader, but this one was very interesting. I
... more grew up in the world of mixed messages of "do what you love" and "find stability." I've had plenty of ups and downs in my career, and reading this book helped me realize that when it was up was when I felt respected, challenged, and free. When it was down was when I didn't feel like I was trusted, I was micromanaged, and I had very little input in decision making. I think I'm going to give some of the book's suggestions a try, and see how they work out. less

Got some good ideas, but half of the book seemd like repeating the same things over and over again.

I liked the different take on passion for something and finding work that you love.
