review 1: I wasn't really all that impressed. I am a huge fan of feel dog animal stories, but this just didn't really feel the same as a normal book. Perhaps it was because we only experience each story for a few pages and I didn't have time to form a connection, or maybe it just didn't feel as well written. In any case, it was a free book, and for something that costs nothing, I'd say this was fine. And the stories were cute.
review 2: What would we do without our dogs? They are there for us when things are going great and when we are at our worst. And they still love us. Dogs bring an intense loyalty and love to our lives that no other pet~~human!~~can match. When we want to give up, they come to us with wagging tails and goofy smiles, asking to go for a walk or play t
... moreug-of-war. Nothing can lift our spirits like our dogs.In this heartwarming collection of true stories you will meet many dogs~~some big, some small, some rambunctious, and some serene. Each of them has played an important part in the lives of their humans. You'll meet a three-legged survivor who helps heal a broken family a funny mutt who brings laughter to a house filled with anxiety, a local celebrity pup who bring smiles and customers to a couple's store, and many more ordinary and extraordinary canines. So share a treat with the special dog in your life, an dig in to these uplifting tales. My Thoughts...I realize this book is not for everyone, however being a pet lover I enjoyed reading the many stories about the owners and their pets.I had to chuckle at an experience about a mother and her young daughter, Mariah as they went shopping for a surprise gift for the oldest daughter Vanessa. They found the perfect dog for Vanessa. While they were waiting for her to get home from school Mariah wanted to name the dog, but the mother thought it best to leave Vanessa name it since it was to be her dog. Mariah asked: "Do you think Vanessa will let me help take care of her? After all, I loved her first." This book is a part of my Personal library, and I enjoyed it enough to award it 4 doggie star treats. less
