review 1: Ruby lives with some of her childhood friends in a retirement home. When one of them dies Ruby becomes suspious, certain her friend was murdered, but no one really is listening they say it was old age. With the help of Jake her grandson whom she raised and Chanel the new activities director, they decide to investigate on their own. Soon Ruby and her friends lives are in danger. But that doesn't stop them. While they try to uncover the truth some long buried secrets begin to surface and lives are about to change. A fun light murder mystery with some laugh out loud moments . review 2: I’ve loved every book I’ve read so far of Cami’s, and so I wasn’t surprised when I loved this one also. Not only is th... moreis murder mystery, it also has secrets, forgiveness, betrayal and humor. I really liked that the book had “older” characters. But the big plus is that they really aren’t your every day run of the mill type of retirees. They’re not only investigating the murder of Ruby’s friend, they also play matchmakers, and the stuff that comes out of their mouths…This is a really light read with just the right amount of mystery, suspense, humor and romance. It would be a great book for anyone looking for something that is just plain fun to read, with a little murder thrown in. less
