review 1: This was a very good book. It starts off slowly. We meet the main character, Siri, a psychologist whose husband died in a diving accident. She still struggles with this, but is determined to continue meeting patients. Only at about page 100, does the book gain momentum. However, I was into the plot from the beginning and enjoyed meeting the characters and finding out about Siri and her background. One of Siri's patients is found dead near Siri's house and with the help of a young police officer named Markus, they begin to try and piece together why someone may be targeting Siri. Before the story ends, the author presents the reader with several different suspects. I kept trying to figure out who it was. This was a very suspenseful read with a vulnerable, but likab... morele main character. Can't wait to read more in the series.I won a copy as part of the Goodreads giveaway program.
review 2: Dr. Siri Bergman operates a psychotherapy practice in Stockholm with her best friend, Aina.Siri can related when her patients tell her about a loss they have suffered. Siri lost her husband, Stefan, to a diving accident. One of her patients is a young woman, Sara Matteus, and when Siri finds Sara's body in a place where Siri often goes swimming, it begins a number of events that make it look like someone is out to harm her.As a protagonist, Siri is someone who catches my interest but when things begin to go badly for her, as a psychologist, I expected more from her. She lives in a house where she keeps the lights on at night but I would have thought she would turn to someone for help, sooner. In addition, with the action taking place in Stockholm, I would have liked more descriptions of the settings. Since I'm not familiar with the area, it seems that it could have been colorful and this would add to the reading enjoyment.I did like the surprise ending and thought it was well done. less

La historia era buena, pero el final muy predecible. Algunas partes del libro aburridas.
