Currently Watching

Hey! I have been watching some great things lately so I thought I’d talk to you all about them!

TV Shows-

Famous In Love- I was so shocked by how much I enjoyed this! When I saw the trailer and poster I really didn’t think it would be for me, but then I decided to give the first episode a go and I ended up really enjoying it! It’s the perfect show to binge as it’s so addictive! I would say it’s very similar to Gossip Girl, with a little dash of the darkness of Pretty little Liars! Though be warned: there’s only 10 episodes out and we wont get more until 2018, it’s way to long to wait!

The Great British Bake Off- I’ve of course been watching the new season of bake off which I’m still loving despite the changes of the judges (I miss Mary so much). This season has been so stressful, every time they get something out of the over they almost drop it and it’s too much for me. I was so happy with who won this year!

Our Girl- The third season of Our Girl just came out, about a super kickass female medic in the army. This was possibly the most disappointing of the series, though I did absolutely love the first two season. The ending of this absolutely killed me, it was way too sad.

Movies-

The Phantom Menace- I went into this thinking I wouldn’t like it, I watched it as a kid and was not impressed after loving the original Star Wars movies so much. But, I didn’t hate it, I actually liked it! I still stand by the fact they’re no where near as good as the others, but they’re not awful. I watched this with my friend Cenedra, who is awesome and an issue we both had is: neither of had any clue what Jar Jar Binks was saying!

Hocus Pocus- I think me and my mum were the only people who didn’t like this movie. It was just way too cheesy for us, not our cup of tea. My mum felt stronger about this than me, she really hated it. Sorry!

To Watch-

The TV shows I plan on watching in the near future is The Bold Type, which I’ve started and I’m loving so much. It’s a super modern and progressive show about three girls working for a magazine. I also want to carry on with Brooklyn-99 which I’ve also started and stopped when my Netflix ran out but I’ve been dying to carry on with it. It’s a comedy about a department of detectives in New York, I think it’s quite similar to The Office (US). And the last TV show is of course I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! I get so excited for this every year as it means Christmas is coming!

What have you been watching/planning to watch?

-Megan.
