review 1: Very good book about growing and learning about yourself. Carrie goes through her senior year of high school and throughout the time there is misfortune, love, adventure, friends, and basic high school life. Even you haven't read or watched "Sex and the City" like me, this is still a great book. My favorite part or idea of this book is that life is crazy and there are heart breaks but good things can or will come.
review 2: I'll admit; the writer is very clever. The only reason I'm compelled to borrow/steal the next book and read it lies solely on the cliffhanger.Most characters are bland; providing no real development throughout. Others, *coughlalicoughmagscough* are whiny, neurotic self-involved cunts.I liked the fact that Carrie managed to befriend the Quee... moren Bee, albeit the Stan Lee-esque name. I still dislike the fact that she had to see him 'one last time', undermining her whole newly constructed strong character. Then again, this 'flaw' is always present in SATC; and after a while I begrudgingly conclude that it's what makes her human. less
