review 1: I tried to like this book... dystopian YA with a female lead seems right up my alley but I just can't get myself to like this book. The world doesn't make sense...The main character is so naive and flat it's amazing that she survived till the end of the book. Many of the plot twists and consequences of her stupidity seems very trivial... it must not be that harsh a society for such imbecile such as herself to get by. The love interest.... falls for the main character simply because she is the main character. His DARK AND TROUBLED PAST!!! ANGSTY ANGST DEEPEST DARKEST SECRET seems laughable when he revealed it.I truly just...just can't like this book.
review 2: I thought that it had the most perfect amount of adventure. I also liked that it had some romance. I kn
... moreew Leon was going to be a major character when he showed up to Gaia's house after her parents were taken by the Enclave. I liked how the whole thing was arranged. The plot was very well done. This book shows a great adventure inspired by the perseverance to rescue her mother and father. Even when she found out that they had already killed her father, she was still on about rescuing her mother. The end was perfect with her sister. It was the most perfect cliff- hanger. I couldn't wait until I could read the next one. less
