I listen to the audio version of this and it was hard to listen to because she gave pearl a country accent and the nun a British accent which I don't think that they would have being in a small town for so long. The editing was also bad. The book itself wasn't as bad but I had a hard time with how stupid the main character was when it came to boys, I know she should be to and extent but it was a bit much with her in regards to Leon.
I enjoyed this one, more so than the first I think. But my internet's been out since Friday and in "book days" for me that's forever ago, so I can't remember a whole lot. I found it odd that though she's only 16 and naive, she readily accepts the Sylum's rules, not knowing what they are. Gee, who would have thought that would come back to bite her on the ass? The love triangle kind of annoyed me, but overall, I enjoyed this one.
Took awhile to read in some parts but every book has it slow parts, other than that a great read!
too much boring silly teenage sex stuff once you past the first half of the book
It was a good book, but not awesome in my opinion, be it ever so humble.
