review 1: This story is one of my all time favourites and is part of my "comfort" collection- can't possibly count the number of times I've read it. So many things appeal to me. Rafi's voice - his snark amuses me to no end. Isaac is so hung up on Rafi that I forgave him quite easily...took Rafi a bit longer but he's stubborn and to be fair he had every right to be leary. I should probably say something about the sexual chemistry but I'm terrible at writing reviews and don't want to leave the impression that sex is the only thing that keeps me coming back to this one...that would make me shallow, but enough about me. Anyway...I've read this so many times that I feel I owe the author a review...didn't promise it would be a good review but here it is....HIGHLY RECOMMENDE... moreD :)
review 2: Loved this story. I really liked how the story made the MC stop and really look back on this high school memories. People have a tendency to forget the good, and only remember the bad. Adult understanding really helps people get over and understand past teen behavior. With this understanding people can start to mentally heal from past hurts. I thought it was sweet the way Isaac never forgot Rafi. All the personal details that Isaac paid attention to and retained in his memory was amazing. less
