review 1: Ok so an author that I totally adore recommended 'Him' in her group on Facebook, so I 1 clicked, as you do xx and I'm so pleased that I did xx I really loved this book x I went into it blind which I prefer to do x anyways here's what I thought xxThe chapters are written from Sarah's POV throughout and they flick from past to present. For me this just added that extra edge and tension build up x more authors should do this. Seriously!! xx anyway, by doing this it kind of created little mini cliffhangers every chapter which just made me want to turn the pages even more. I devoured this book in a day. Young love is my ultimate go to and this book executes this just the way I like it xx there was just enough innocents to keep it ultimately beautiful and just enough drama and a... morengst to keep my heart just on the right side of beating out of my chest.Sarah and Will have been BFFs forever although Sarah has always wanted more but never felt worthy enough or even that Will would want that x they finally get together and their blossoming romance is beautifully written. As with these romances though, things go wrong and that was heartbreaking to read x So the ending x well it's not a cliffhanger but....well....it just stops! I was like wha??? If I had been reading a real book I would've thought some pages were missing, so I'm pleased there is a 'Her'!! I felt that the emotions, and reactions from the characters were believable of their ages each time (past and present) I met my hubs when I was young so it was totally relatable for me (minus the heartbreak part
review 2: I practically read this book in one sitting. I liked the flashbacks between the past and the present b/c of course I couldn't figure what could have possibly happened between them to make her run all the way to Trenton. (Trenton! Who would ever go there intentionally?!! JK). I found it a bit annoying that they seriously never spoke for 7 years about any of it; especially when Will was like a part of the family. How could they have failed to mention that to her before she came home for the wedding? I'd have been super pissed at my family. Overall, I thought the story was quick moving and the characters very likeable, especially Will; a sweet love story without being sentimental or cheesy. less

From the author:Sarah Miller hasn’t been home in seven years. She thought she could stay away forever. If it wasn’t for her big brother's wedding, that is. Part of her even feels silly for staying away this long. It's not like anyone even knew what happened. Well, except for him. That guy. The one she compared all others to. The one who set the bar so high no other guy after him could even compete. All she needs to do is make it through the next week without running into him. From Me:What a sweet romantic read. Sarah was the girl who Will let get away. Sarah has never forgotten that one special boy who would have her love forever.

Interesting until the author kept annoyingly dragging on the plot . it was okay .
