review 1: After reading the first book in this series and strongly disliking it I forced myself to read the second one to see if there was any redemption for the author or the series. No such luck. I disliked this book as much as the first and all the problems I found in the first book were present in this second installment. There was a lot of forced drama that seemed to be there only to extend the length of the novel without requiring extra work by the author - filler high school type drama - and the plot of the novel, once again, lacked substance.
