review 1: Edge of Normal is a tightly written story of suspense. Reeve is in her 20s and still trying to cope with the aftereffects of being held captive in her teens. When another girl who was missing is found alive, Reeve's psychiatrist asks for her help in making sure the readjustment into society for this newest victim is a smooth one. There are many twists in this thriller and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I am looking forward to reading more from Carla Norton.
review 2: I love psychological thrillers, and this one didn't disappoint. I read it in just a couple of days - it was the kind of book you can't put down. Highly recommend it. My only beef is that I didn't feel the characters were developed as well as they could have been, but I think that's a functio... moren of the narrative style which gives the perspective of many characters from the third person, each in a different chapter. less
