Reeve LeClaire
review 1: A blend of literacy style, psychological insight and edge of the seat thriller- I was not comfortable with the subject(even though it is an ongoing subject) It was very unnerving being in the mind of a deranged psychopath. Reeve's was abducted 10 years ago and is rebuilding her life with the aid of a brilliant psychiatrist, who is an expert in captivity syndromes. Dr Lerner asks Reeve to help a young girl, Tilly, who has suffered a similar ordeal, Reeve suddenly finds herself in a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a ruthless predator, who is still out there, watching her every move. She is a survivor who learns to fight back
review 2: Kidnapped and held hostage for 3 years, Reeve"Edgy Reggie" LeClerc, searches for meaning in a life she is lucky to call her own.
... moreTherapy, dead end jobs, and hanging out with her pet, Perse, help her pass the time until she asked to assist in the cases of 3 missing and presumed kidnapped young girls. The Edge of Normal looks at kidnapping through the eyes of the victims, parents, and the kidnapper himself. Since it's written in short chapters, it's easy to convince yourself to read "just one more" and then find yourself 200 pages in. This actually is a page turner worth reading. less

I could not put this book down. It was scary and kind of traumatizing but also very intriguing.
