review 1: If you expect a lot about the hidden secret of Steve Job's Innovation to be revealed with this book, you may be disappointed. I expected that I would be awed with that secret, but not that special secret was revealed by this book. As a practical instructive manual, you can learn some tips and principles to become a creative entrepreneur or business person. Steve Job's principles were analyzed as 7 principles by the author. Gallo sites numerous examples, from the original design of the iPod to Jobs ability to analyze products “down to the pixel level.” Throughout the book, Gallo draws on numerous experts from Jobs to former partner Steve Wozniak to product design guru Jonathon Ive to even Barbra Streisand in describing the obsessive pursuit of perfection. The book also allows insights from companies like Starbucks and Subway who also grab market share by a dedicated pursuit of their customer. In all, “Innovation Secrets” draws back the curtain on what many are dying to know about how this one company seems to be able to best its competitors on a consistent basis.
