review 1: I was very disappointed by the second book of the series. Though I believe both Lucas and Jack are hoties hoties that doesnt mean that I have to read their embracements with Valerie. 70% of the book was about Val having hot steamy sex with either Lucas or Jack(mostly with Lucas)Lucas was like another Edward trying to persuade Val/Bella that drinking her blood would be a very very bad idea and Val freaking out about Jack's(almost non existent) relationship with Rachel. Ok we got the point that Lucas/Jaxk is very good in bed. No need to read it for more than half the book. Jesus!
review 2: If I could use one word to describe Love is Fear I would use "WOW". It does not disappoint and is a great follow up to Love is Darkness. I finished reading Love is Fear in one
... moreday and that's saying a lot because I haven't been this obsessed with a book/story line since the Twilight Saga which by the way I finished reading in 4 days.Love is Fear picked up where Love is Darkness left off. Val returning to her hotel room, finding Jack waiting for her and having to explain her involvement with Lucas. They try having a relationship, it fails and she runs back to Lucas.Val is a character we can relate to. She's young, driven by her hormones, says things that make you laugh, does things that make you mad and sad. Her life has been an emotional roller coaster but I still can't help but feel drawn to her and root for her.Jack is a tortured soul, driven by revenge and his love for Valerie.Lucas... what can I say? He's the bad boy and I have a soft spot for bad boys especially the vampire kind. I can't help but root for him and Val.Love is Fear made me laugh, excited and broke my heart. I'm a sucker for a hot vampire and love above all. The ending left me speechless and wanting more... definitely can't wait for the next installment.I would recommend reading Love is Darkness to better understand the characters and the events leading up to Love is Fear. less
