How to Tame a Heartbreaker
review 1: Ok, so I finished this book a week ago and i was putting off writing my review because i really hate giving bad reviews... It's like telling a parent that their baby is ugly... not cool! I guess this book was just not for me; it had a lot of elements that i do not usually enjoy in a read so lets name a couple so you can get my point: 1)it was written in the 3rd person - major turn off for me except in rare occasions. I think i mentioned in an older review that when i read 3rd person pov books i try to imagine what the narrator looks like, and i know it's pointless and distracting but my mind keeps on going there!2)the story: semi-bad rich boy meets good poor girl, boy falls madly in love with girl within a matter of days, girl doesn't want to get hurt so it's a semi-no, gi... morerl sleeps with boy, crazy ex gets involved, girl is devastated, boy wins girl over using extreme measures, the end!! oh let's not forget boy is extremely possessive, caring and overprotective... Been there read that so many times! Authors need to step up their game if they want readers to really enjoy their work. Don't get me wrong, the writing was good and the characters were well developed, but the story suffered from severe lack of originality. I'm really sorry to say this but i cannot recommend this book.*I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review*
review 2: This is a very cute story. The mc, Hannah, is a cartoonist who draws inspiration from R. Crumb, and loves the music of Tom Waits. She comes from a normal, working class family who love and support her as she makes her move to the big city of Nashville, where she meets the hero, Jason. He is rich, promiscuous, and drop dead gorgeous, but also very direct about what he wants - no hidden agendas, which is a nice change of pace. Great read for a lazy week-end afternoon. less

Loved the story and characters but wasn't a big fan of the third person pov.
