review 1: The writing was amateurish, and the plot was uninspired. The characters would have been interesting, but their dialogue was kinda cheesy and they don't behave/interact in realistic ways. Another thing that annoyed me is that the author does that thing where she'll have one character say something that is supposed to be witty or funny, and then have the other character silently acknowledges in his head how witty the first character is... ugh, I don't like it. Especially because it wasn't even that witty! So um, no, I didn't like this little book very much. N.B. The sex scenes was also boring. Not horrible. Just very bland, so no saving grace there either. If everything else is mediocre, then at least write me some steamy sex scenes so I can save you to my smutty book list t... moreo revisit when I need something to fap to. Now I'll just mark this as done, and never think about it again.
review 2: I loved this! It's perfectly short and sweet!Mason is a big man, a carpenter, who doesn't flaunt his sexuality much and generally enjoys men similar to him. So, when a costume party finds him being drawn to a small, slim man, dressed in a fairy costume he's surprised and a little frightened. That fear leads to him making a mistake later in the novella, but he more than redeems himself by the end.I adored Avery's character (the man in the fairy costume) in this story. He's sweet, fun, and undeniably enchanting. Loved, loved, loved him! less

Adorable read. A clever balance of sympathetic and sexy characters, it didn't slide into cliche.
