review 1: So I have to admit I wasn't originally that excited to read about jace and tara. He seemed to be a little cocky and she seemed like a nuisance in the previous book. But I can honestly say I loved loved loved this book. It was nice to see the two of them interact. They bicker like an old married couple, it wasn't lovey dovey at all, which was refreshing. I'm def looking forward to the next story in this series :-)
review 2: ***Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington (Brava) for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review***4 starsJace Mills is stuck in a rut; he broke up with rodeo queen Jacqueline more than a year ago--so why is he still dealing with her mood swings and jealous behavior? He decides to break it off for good--and goes on the rodeo
... more tour to get away from her, and to help out his friend Tucker by driving his sister Tara around for her sports medicine internship. Tara Jenkins is trying to get over her shock that the love of her life, her brother's best friend Logan, doesn't love her back. Now that she's on the road, she decides to spread her wings a little--but Jace is quick to try and save her from herself--or is he just jealous? Will Jace and Tara's verbal sparring, fighting, and attraction turn into something else? Can they spend three weeks together and stay friends (or something more...)? I really enjoyed this book a lot--the chemistry between the two main characters was really steamy, the fighting/banter between the two main characters was hilarious, and I really just enjoyed the coupling of these two characters that I did NOT see getting together after the first couple of books. I really like Jace as a person after getting to know him better in this book, and while I was annoyed by Tara in the beginning of the story and her one-track mind, she grew on me over the course of the book. Overall, a great, fun, and steamy read--would recommend to fans of Katie Lane, Linda Lael Miller, and stories with sexy cowboys. :) less
