review 1: I would probably rate this 3.75 if I was able. I found the story interesting. Having read several books with the same sort of premise (where body parts are donated by those who are unfortunate) I had hoped for more from the story. By the end of the book it had a western feel, sort of, and the romance took over. Which is ok. Love is good. Love is grand. I will read the next book in the series and will probably re-read this before it comes out. I will hold off on any other thoughts until that happens. What the hell I'll give it four stars.
review 2: I felt like this had so much promise. The beginning was great but about a third of the way in it got stilted. I started losing track of what was happening and worse, I didn't care. I finished it because I was cu... morerious where it would go but the ending was somewhat unsatisfying as it's an obvious setup for a sequel. I guess I'm glad I read it but I'm very glad I was able to borrow it from Amazon instead of spending money on it. less
