review 1: I’m not sure what to expect when I bought this book. The cover looks nice... and the synopsis do sound interesting. It’s kinda frustrating that I didn’t enjoy this book as I thought I would.Wisdom's Kiss by Catherine Gilbert Murdock was one of the confusing book I’ve read. It was written in a few point of views – Tips, Trudy, Dizzy and a few others. I usually did not mind reading any book with alternating point of views, but in Wisdom’s Kiss, it was written in several styles – letters, encyclopedia and in screenplay form to name a few. The constant change in point of views and styles was too confusing that it forced me to put down the book for quite a few times. It was sad because the storyline wasn’t so bad.
review 2: I didn't realize until cl
... moreose to the end of this book that it was written by the same author who wrote another book I enjoyed, (Princess Ben). And it finally dawned on me why the characters and elements seemed so familiar. This book, while based in that same world, is very different from the first. The writing style is very unconventional and was, at times, a little scattered. I enjoyed hearing about the same event from differing viewpoints, though. I liked the idea that even with foresight, things don't end up the way you think or plan, but you can still be happy in the end. I will definitely recommend this book to my daughter! less
