review 1: I definitely love this kind of book, but what I was NOT loving was the 3rd person POV.I know, I know, it's a little ridiculous judging a book but it's POV(See what I did there) but honestly? I feel like in 3rd person, it kind of prevents you from connecting with the characters and understanding them because it's always so confusing when it's switching its shit around, you know?I tried, really, but couldn't make it through this book. I guess 3rd person POV books are just not for me.
review 2: I had a hard time getting into this book. I don't know what it was but it was slow in the beginning and then it picked up closer to the middle I would say. I was a little confused with some stuff. It seemed like the characters were talking about one thing and then a second ... morelater it switched and then their emotions switched and I would have to reread to see what I missed. But I thought overall it was really good and I can't wait to read the second one. I'm excited to find out what happens with these two and I liked how Kate would push his buttons. Dominic was everything you would want in the male character and I think that sense of vulnerability added to his character. I would say I would give this a 4 1/2 stars. less
