review 1: Free download. This book was a great read and different as plots go. Jeanie is about to attend her husbands, Pono's funeral, but her emotions are all over the place and she isn't sure why. Mark arrives for his best friends funeral but his concern is for Jeanie. He's been in love with her since they met and has always made a point of taking an interest in her but not in a way as to interfere in her marriage, Jeanie has always felt something whenever Mark was near but never acted on it. Mark sees his opportunity and takes it but also provides Jeanie with some truths about herself, her marriage, and why she isn't happy. This story was a really great read, different plot, interesting characters, and lots of emotional angst. I did feel Jeanie was really needy at times but as yo... moreu read the story you understand why. Mark is hot as hell and a very loving Dom, possessive but romantic. The sex scenes were erotic and graphic but not crass. I really enjoyed the Tongan details provided and was glad to see how Pono's family dealt with his death but also Jeanie's relationship with Mark. Some very sweet moments and I would recommend.
review 2: so I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review. First off let me say that she shows a culture that I had not heard of before this book but was very interest in some of the cultural customs that they perform in this book. In this book we meet Mark and Jeanie. Jeanie has just lost her husband to a heartache and Mark is his old friend. In the first couple of chapters we find that Mark has been falling in love with Jeanie for years but out of respect for his friendship with Pono he never acted on this feelings. Jeanie is confused about her feelings in regards to everyone around including her deceased husband. This book is about love, dominance, submission, finding out who you are, and learning that fighting for a pure love makes living worthwhile. I like how this author didn't just make this story about a dominant / submissive relationship that is just part of the story, but that there is a story beyond that is just fabulous. I would recommend this book to anyone. less

The male dom is a flower mouth sissy like Edward Cullen at Stephanie Meyer's twilight series.
