review 1: I don't even know where to begin writing a review for this book. It was amazing, suspenseful, and I have never been so invested in fictional characters as I've been with the Thompson sisters. I've been a huge fan since I read Just Remember to Breath, my heart broke with Julia in her book (Song for Julia), and I probably cried all the way through Carrie's story in The Last Hour. Charles Sheehan-Miles is such a great author and has the ability to capture every emotion in his stories.When I heard about Rachel's Peril trilogy I could not have been more excited and they did not disappoint!In Girl of Vengeance, I was sitting on the edge of my seat through out the entire story. There were times when I wanted to cry, there were times when I had to put my Kindle down so I wouldn't ... morethrow it across the room in frustration! There was so much suspense and mystery that kept you completely hooked until the very end! Basically I loved everything about this story and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good action packed novel.
review 2: This is absolutely one of my favorite series!! I'm sad this is the end, but if it has to end, this is definitely the way to do it! This whole series is happy, sad, scary, edge of your seat suspenseful and so much more!! Girl of Vengeance was no exception. There's even an ugly cry moment at the end for good measure. My only complaint would be that the ending felt a little rushed. There's so many characters the wrap up and I was left with a few question marks as far as where they ended up. Was this done on purpose to maybe be able to revisit these characters in the future? I don't know and honestly I kind of hope so.... Other than that, this book, this whole series, is on my list of holy hot freakin awesomeness reads. less
