review 1: The pacing of the plot was excellent. It kept me in suspense and I did have a few surprising along the way. One of the villains was a little cartoonish but all around, I liked the characters, especially the hero, Marcus and heroine, Rebecca, who each were overcoming some pretty horrible situations and were both much stronger than they realized. This one gave me a very satisfied feeling at the end.
review 2: I read Cheryl Kaye Tardif's Children of the Fog a few months ago and couldn't put it down...I'm happy to say that I had the same reaction to Submerged. Even when I knew it was time to go to bed, I just had to keep reading so I could find out what happens next! Marcus and Rebecca are both incredibly likable characters, and I really cared about what they were
... moregoing through in the book and worried about them as if they were people I knew in real life. I can't wait to read more of this author's work...my only complaint is that when I'm reading one of her books, I don't get enough sleep! : ) less

I kept reading because I felt sorry for the main character. I also liked his best friend.

Not as good as others from this author. Standard story. Guessed the "killer" early on.
