review 1: Like any other Bhagat novel, this was a quick read. While the protagonist is obnoxious, vindictive and petty (most of the time), and it has a cliche romance built in, the most appealing part of the book was how Bhagat examines the admission anxiety so peculiar in South Asia ,the corruption in privatised higher education and its tie in with politics and media. The pervasive nature of corruption rings authentic, and the best part is, he remains an optimist to the end.
