review 1: This was a cute book that would be a great book to introduce children to the library. It expounds on the wonder that can be found there and in books in general. Aimed for 8 - 12 year old, as an adult it seemed young to me, but I think for children or adults with young children it would be perfect. It features teamwork, acceptance of people, games and of course a library filled with all the modern technology you could imagine and then some. Mr. Lemoncello is definitely the library's answer to Willie Wonka. Enjoy!!
review 2: This book was interesting enough, and I especially enjoyed all the book references. I didn't particularly care for the apparitions, ghostly voices, moving walls/panels. etc. I felt as though I was back in Hogwarts with all that. One not
... more very likable character is a stereotype, to be blunt. Several others hover on that borderline. Mr. Lemoncello can be a bit annoying at times. Overall, a book that pretty much kept my interest, but one not award-worthy. less
