review 1: Great book. Realistic writing and story telling. The fact that Chris Ryan was in the SAS makes the writing come alive. It's not over the top as if some author sitting in a basement has written. This is true, realistic writing. Defiantly recommend to a friend. And for teenagers the series this is a great book to read. Codes, secrets, mysteries, everything you want. The book thinks outside the box, and with all of Chris Ryans books, you can learn something new.
review 2: The book "Agent 21" is a book about a boy who lost his parents in an "accident", but later discovered that his parents' death wasn't as simple as an "accident" as the police refuse to return the remains of his parents. Zak found out he was followed, but as he communicated with the follower, and
... morediscovered that everything wasn't as easy as he expected. And so, he joined the "government agency" which he "don't need to know which one". The story is written surrounding events happened around Zak, starting from the death of his parents, to he got recruited by the "government agency", training routine, first mission, and discover the truth of his parents. This is a friction book, start with a unexpected tragic of the death of Zaks' parents, then to a little climax of when Zak is recruited, until his first mission of Montinez, until the final climax of him discovering the real reason. I like the character Zak, because of his excellent performance in all situations, tests, and work. less
