review 1: Not what I thought it was going to be. Definitely not like book one-less sex, less graphic sex, less dirty talk, and a ton less emotion. I felt nothing when Max first thought that he was in love with Sara. It seemed out of place and completely disingenuous. There were however, some redeeming qualities. My obsession with hot Brits...their accents? Bloody hell. So, yeah, Max was nifty, complete with playing rugby. Also, his photography...all of it completely yummy. As for Sara...she was just boring. I didn't want to see her hit by a bus, but I also couldn't find a fuck to give if she were. There were just so many things in this tale that seemed incomplete or insincere....or simply lacking. Not bad, not great.
review 2: Not my kink, but it worked for them. It deve
... moreloped into a beautiful love story - Loved his character, especially resolution scene of him 'calling her' on her immature behaviour "because I thought being adults we’d talk face-to-face...Everything we’ve done together required a great deal of trust, Sara. I gathered I deserved the benefit of the doubt..." Yes, thank you! And also speaking his truth that saying "I Love You" to him included trust "But if you loved me how I love you,” he said, cutting me off, “you would have given me a chance to explain what you saw in the Post.” Wow - Gut wrenching, truth telling. Well done ladies. less
