review 1: Very frustrated. I thought this was a romance novel. Well there was zero romance in this book. I can't believe I read through page after page of blah blah blah, to finally get to the only chapter that was exciting( the last one). Only to once again find out I would have to wait to see what happens by reading the next book. Well that is not going to happen. I waited through 80 percent of the book for something to "actually" happen only to get cut off when it finally did. I read this book because of some of the reviews, well I won't trust those again either.
review 2: This is the first book in Christine Pope's "new adult" witch series. I don't normally like reading about witchcraft, but I like Christine Pope, so I gave it a try. The book was very drawn out,... more with many descriptive details. But for me, it added to the suspense leading up to a surprising ending. I could not help immediately downloading the next book in the series. The book contained language, and talk of sex, but no actual sex. less
