review 1: I love the nostalgia in this book about an Italian family in Delaware. It changes points of view from the 1st generation matriarch and patriarch, Maddalena and Antonio, to their son and daughter, Frankie and Prima. I'm torn, I want to give this 4 stars but for a family-centered story, there was no humor. It was sweet and sad, but I was missing those humorous moments that make a story like this real.
review 2: All This Talk of Love was a mixed bag for me. I loved Antonio and Maddalena, Prima I found to be fairly creepy. Frankie's love for his parents was touching, but his relationship with Birch was strange and left me cold.
