review 1: Hmmm. I have discovered the only reason I have read these books is for Cade & Zack. It's good thing since they are the main characters. The premise of these stories is interesting, but I have many issues with the books in general. I'm not a fan of politics. I do like a story that is dark & edgy, but this is almost too dark. Not a lot of joy to be found. I don't like that there are no female characters in these stories. They exist for such a short time, but the author kills them off quickly. I get the sense that this author is none to fond of women. They exist in his stories as "throw aways". I do like Tania, but she's not in the mix enough. The women in these stories get treated VERY BADLY.
review 2: Well, what can I say? If you are a lover of werewo
... morelves and urban fantasy, as I am, still, this is the story that will make you take the second (and longing) glance at vampires. You will just love Nathaniel Cade. For his masculinity, his unique character, his otherness. I just loved the one and true vampire. Nathaniel is just every woman's dream man. Even if that woman prefers werewolves :). Great series, great plot, great read. I recommend for everyone, even if they are not fantasy lovers. What made this series great is that it was written by a man, so the main character was male through and through. Read it, you will never regret. less
