review 1: A good introduction to how the very rich live and play. If the capital crimes committed are an indication of the participants happiness, then the age old axiom (money doesn't bring happiness) is proven true in this story. Characters live life outside my experience but, as they are portrayed, it seems the characters are real. I found myself cheering for the underdogs as usual. The story moved at a good pace and never a chance to lose interest. I read it straight through and left another book I was reading to get back to this story. I'm looking forward to reading the two follow on books that I also purchased at the same time as this book. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.
review 2: Christopher Smith has done it again. Wow. This book kept me interest
... moreed through out the entire story. I could barely put it down. Many twists and turns keep the reader fascinated and wondering what is going to happen next. His ending twist really surprised me, I didn't see that coming at all. I can't wait to read more books in this series. Smith's books are all really vibrant and descriptive and no matter the subject matter, he keeps me entertained constantly. I look forward to reading more Christopher Smith. less

superficial plot, unreal characters, unrealistic and non-consistent choices in many situations.
