review 1: Christy Jordan’s latest cookbook is dedicated to families in today’s world. This cookbook is crammed full of delicious recipes that are made up of affordable ingredients. She focuses on making things easier for her readers by offering differing ways to cook in the same recipe, i.e. slow cooker versus oven. The recipes are organized by the main ingredient and cover wide variety of cultural favorites. Christy Jordan includes anecdotes from her past and uplifting quotes throughout the book. This is a wonderful cookbook for busy families who are looking for easy recipes to bring everyone to the table. review 2: We love her recipes, but this book dro... moreps to 3 stars because the layout is so bad. A lot of recipes are split between different pages. As in: recipe starts on page 1, pages 2 & 3 have a nice little story, recipe continues on page 4. It's frustrating when you just want to cook! I would have paid more to have a book with more and/or larger pages and each recipe contained on a page (or two to a page, etc) - just spare me all of this page turning! less
