review 1: A second chance at romance set on a ranch in a small town. Sadie has chased her Nashville dreams of stardom, until her money has run out. She reluctantly returns home to Hope Springs to save money for her return, and runs into to her ex, Royce. He and his mother run a ranch that serves troubled teens as well as being a working ranch. Royce isn't to happy to hear that Sadie has returned to town, but eventually they both work out their differences and achieve their happily ever after. Second Chance Ranch is a sweet romance with enough chemistry, humor, and engaging characters. I would recommend to anyone who like western themed romances!I received a free copy for an honest review.
review 2: This sweet second chance romance is the story of Sadie and Royce. Leaving
... more her high school love behind, Sadie went to Nashville in search of her dream to be a country music star. Things didn't work out as planned though and 6 years later she's back in Hope Springs, licking her wounds and hoping to earn some money to get her career aspirations on track. When a job opens up at Royce's ranch helping out with his teen camp, Sadie takes it and before long memories of her and Royce are overwhelming them both. Can they rebuild their friendship and rekindle their love? And will that be enough to keep them together? I really enjoyed this story! Sadie was a delightful character - fun, friendly, outspoken, a real charmer, though she hides her insecurities well. Being rejected in Nashville was a hard lesson to learn, but being back in Hope Springs is reminding her of what she's missed- working with horses, being with her family, and most importantly her friendship and love for Royce. Royce's character is also very engaging - strong, handsome, determined to make his ranch and teen camp as successful as his father did. Having Sadie around him again brings up all sorts of memories, both good and bad, but the more time he spends with her, the more he falls back in love with her again. The chemistry between them is evident from the first time they set eyes on each other after their separation and the sweet romance scenes between them are tender and heartwarming. The secondary characters added a lot to the story, both the teens in the camp and the families of Sadie and Royce. There was an abundance of warmth and humour that made the story a delight to read. I also really liked the setting of the story, the descriptions of life on a ranch and the reality of rodeo competitions. Overall the story was an entertaining read, with engaging characters, an interesting plot, full of warmth and humor and a sweet romance. 4 stars!
