review 1: I recently finished just add magic and I really enjoyed the book. It is about 3 girl and they find an old cook book and decide to try some of the recipes. All the recipes have strange names like keep me quiet cobbler. They figure out that it is a magic cook book and that it really works. But later bad things happen and they have to balance there act of bad with acts of good. I really enjoy the book and recommend it. Also in the back of the book there are some of the recipes the three friends used and you can try out which I thought was funny.
review 2: 1/10/13I recently read Just Add Magic by Cindy Callaghan. Kelly had just found a bunch of hidden recipes in her attic! She hopes that her two friends, Darbie O'Brien and Hanna will help her mix up a secret cookin... moreg club with recipes that are for their eyes only. But when the friends get two creepy warnings in fifteen minuets, they have to beware of the law of returns. This book was very suspenseful because when they made a recipe they always ran into the law of returns. The book sometimes had a paragraph or two that was a bit boring though. It was because it just was hard to keep up with and talked about a whole different subject. This relates to me because Kelly loves to cook and I do too. I think the author describes Kelly's personality really well. For example, the author wrote a lot about how Kelly likes cooking so much. I hope the author will right more books because I really enjoyed this one and I think the author will do even better on the next book she writes. I rated this book 4 out of 5 because it didn't give enough information about Kelly going to school. But other than that this book was great! less
