review 1: I had a really hard time finishing this because I could not get into the Jase/Allie relationship. Jase was fine, but Allie was just too stupid to live and I just couldn't understand what he saw in her. For someone who grew up on the streets, she was painfully naive and lacked anything even remotely approaching a sense of survival, or even common sense. Even after she grew up a little and supposedly got her life together, she was still making one dumb decision after another, and it's hard to get into a book when I'm too busy rolling my eyes at the protagonist.
review 2: I LOVED THIS BOOK!! It grabbed me from the very first page... the author had me falling in love with the main characters within minutes... {I don't want to say too much and give anything away.... more..} She did an amazing job creating the storyline.. it remained interesting as the book went on... I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen... I couldn't put this book down and finished it in a day. Absolutely FABULOUS!! less
