review 1: I came across this book on one of the free and discounted ebooks lists that I subscribe to and thought it looked interesting. It was free, so I decided to try it out. I couldn't wait to start reading it and had a hard time putting it down. The author was new to me but I thouroghly enjoyed reading this book. In fact, when I finished this book, I looked up the other two books in the series. Both of them were .99 so I downloaded them as well,
review 2: This book showed a lot of promise. It had what could have been a great storyline. Unfortunately, I felt like the author spent too much time on the details of the characters' everyday lives, rather than drawing you in with the dramatic parts of the story. There was more time spent on describing how the main chara... morecter made lunch for her and her son, what they were eating, how he played with his toys, and just mundane details that really didn't add to the story. I actually didn't finish reading it, and skipped over most of the boring parts of the book. less
