review 1: The Last Best Kiss is one of those novels that you’ll want to stay up past your bedtime to finish; I certainly stayed up late because I just couldn’t wait to see what happened next! Claire LaZebnik has done an admirable job recreating high school in all of its drama-filled, angsty glory. Teenagers will love Anna and all of her friends; they are sure to see themselves in here somewhere. And even if we all have an idea of what the end of this book will be like, readers will enjoy every page of the journey there; you’ll be rooting for Anna and Finn the whole way.
review 2: Not really what I was expecting, but not in the let-down category. More of like I imagine this to be so much more. It did not meet what I was expecting, but I was satisfied with the easy ... morereading this provided me, nonetheless. This gave me sweetness and peace in my heart -- not intense -- but still an enjoyable read. It's obvious that the two main characters liked each other since the beginning, and I believe this is a read for teenage high schoolers, so yeah. It fell somehow short to my standards. But this book is entertaining. Anyone who would want a relaxing weekend should read this. :) less
