review 1: It is something of a strange book as the main character is in a coma and not really about her but about her cheating ex boyfriend, her best friend Fiona, and her sister Kate and what is happening in their lives while she is watching and sometimes interfering in their lives. Almost like the ghosts in A Christmas Carol her actions have some major repercussions on all three people. The end of the book was bittersweet and seemed to be cut short from what it could and possibly even should have been.
review 2: This is my book clubs choice to read this month. It looked promising, but it was a bit of a chore to read at times. Being able to get even with an awful ex is something most of us would love to do. Charlotte is an interesting main character. But you can see the... more book's predictability. You can see every big revelation and plot twist coming. Which kind of spoils the book for me. But I wanted to finish this book to find out what happened to Charlotte. Does she come out of the comma? Does she get even with her ex? You'll have to read the book to find out. less
