review 1: I was so excited when I saw this book and the premise seemed engaging. Unfortunately I was left more than a little unimpressed. Luckily I only payed a pound for this book in some cheapy book store because if I hadn't I'd be incredibly annoyed. It was a good enough idea but the characters were difficult for me to relate to and the story was so predictable! It was too similar to the original fairy tale to be believable and quite frankly, I guessed the whole life perfect - life ruined - built back up slowly thing - everything is more perfect than before storyline within 100 pages. I finished it and was as satisfied as I could be with the ending but it was snooze-worthy if I'm honest. I like Sharon though.
review 2: I was disappointed by this book. The title was ca
... moretchy, the blurb about it interested me, and drew me away from my fantasy book binge that I've been on for the past few years. It started out well with the prologue but by the few first few pages in chapter I began to lose interest another riches to rags with a spoiled princess and there wasn't any humor in sight anywhere. Still Jessie does become something almost human although still spoiled and I was glad that Emma got her comeuppance. Still worth reading for those who like the riches to rags stories. less

I wouldn't say I enjoyed it *quite* as much as Carroll's previous two, but it was still fun!

Nice easy read along the lines of Bridget Jones.
