review 1: Clare is at it again, and though this brewfest isn't as strong as the previous, it's still a great cozy mystery that keeps up not only wirh technology, but all the drama towards the end of the Bloomberg era of NYC.A violent hit and run opens the story that includes smuggling, drugs, international intrique and if course COFFEE as Clare and the Blend family deal with a slowing economy by attempting to break new ground by introducing The Muffin Muse, a new foodtruck, in hopes of attracting new customers and reviving the support of the artistic community that Madame started long ago. review 2: The pink cover of the paperback indicates a fluffier piece than this is--lots of interesting foodie and coffee information in this series, strong sense of place in the New York City neighborhoods, and fleshed-out characters.
