review 1: 4 StarsThis book was definitely different from anything I've read before. I like to step out of my comfort zone every once in awhile and this exactly the type of book I look for, something that makes me question if it's wrong I'm enjoying reading about a certain taboo subject. But the writing and characters make you love the story even if it isn't the norm and is something you probably will never come into contact with in your life. This book NOT for anyone who doesn't like dark and twisted subjects and books. At time I thought did I just read that, did that really just happen. This is the first book of CM Stunichs that I have read but it will not be the last, she is original, has great flow in her writing, and pulls you into the story. I will say that there were parts tha... moret I was a little confused on and felt like a few thinks I would have liked more detail on, other than that a must read if you are a fan of Dark Romance.
review 2: Review: I was given a complimentary copy of Taboo Unchained by Pretty lil page turners in exchange for an honest review. Let me just say wow. I have never read anything quite like this book. C.M Stunich I think I’m stunned at this book. It was really good and I enjoyed it. It was different from anything that I have ever read. There is Lucas and he has the taboo. His clients pay him to unleash the taboo. This is the man that your mother warned you to stay away from. Lucas will show you the dark side of the bedroom. This book does have violence, sex and a disturbing inner dialogue. If you like that kind of thing you should read this book. The characters were really great and I liked the anti-hero. “My name is Lucas. I am a fucking god.” I have no idea how to explain his connection to both Audra, the crazy redhead who matches him move for move, and Robbie, his sweet-tempered and innocent neighbor next door. This book takes those those tiny dark spots and magnifies them and spins an equally inspirational tale from that. I really like that about C.M’s writing. It makes it so unique. I liked the way the story flowed. I think that C.M did a good job on this book and I liked that there was no cliff hanger. I give it 4 out of 5 stars! less
